How the race works
Arrival & check-in
Arrive at least 30 minutes before the start. We'll verify your registration, hand out start numbers and meet other participants.
Categorization
Dogs are grouped by size and coat variety. Every dachshund races against equal opponents.
The race!
Owner at the finish line, dog on the other side. Short, fast, irresistibly fun — and lots of cheering.
Award ceremony
Medals, photos and lots of paw-high-fives. Every participant gets a memento.
Before entering the track
Participation requirements
- The dog must be a dachshund
- The dog must be on a leash
- The dog must be microchipped
- The dog must be properly vaccinated
- Dogs participate together with their owners
